Yes, we have done it! ASUIsTalking.com is now compatible with your IPhone and several other smart phones. With the mobile site you can check your e-mail, Instant Message other members, Upload Photos…and so on. It will do basically the same thing that the main site can do. Working on finishing up another exclusive product: “Brand Friendships”. Basically, its a new way of advertising on our network. It has HUGE benefits for the members as well as the Brand that has the adverpage.
How it works: The Brand gets to build a “Brand Friendship” profile on the site. That profile page can be updated as often as they like with specials, downloadable PDF offers as well as images and videos of their company. The Brand also has the ability to create Brand Groups, which is where the members can join and get special offers, happy hour specials or anything else they want sent to them directly. It has a ton of logic behind it and we look forward to launching it next week.

So The video upload and rating section is complete. You can add videos to your “Video Locker” and then the community can rate them. Then the highest rated videos show up in the lobby. Currently you can add YouTube, Metacafe, Google and Brightcove videos. I am working on adding Myspace, Facebook and AOL videos. they are a bit more difficult to work with when producing automatic thumbnail images of the videos.

Yeah That’s What I’m Thinkin’

Ok, so its like 2:30 am and I am working on some of the features of the site. Sitting here thinking about how to the students and advertisers could use Google to their benefit. So I start the Google maps implementation. I figure students can use it to get quick directions and advertisers can use it to pinpoint their locations on their Brand Friendship pages. Hmmm, it has to be smart…easy …and automatic for the user….
